Home of the UK's best cow experiences!
Multi award winning, farmer led, adult only cow experiences.
Cow cuddling, Highland cow experiences, safaris, tours, sponsorship and gifts, that support our conservation project here in East Yorkshire.
Not your average farm...
Dumble Farm in East Yorkshire is run by three farmers with a passion for conservation and sustainable farming. Everything we do is designed to create the best habitat to protect wildlife and support declining species.
Cows are amazing! The way cattle graze makes them integral to creating the right conditions to support other wildlife and plants. Our fold of over 80 magnificent Highland cows are our conservation grazers. Read more about them and our projects on the conservation page.
Walking routes, Coffee Courtyard, Gift Shop & Boozy Coo bar!
Want to come for a walk to see some fluffy cows, then have a pit-stop for coffee, cake and ice-cream?
There is a 3 mile signed circular public walking route, which goes around the whole of the farm. We’re also creating extra permissive paths, so you can come for a walk to see all the cows and wildlife here at Dumble Farm, whenever you like.
Our Coffee Courtyard and gift shop are only open at certain times during the week (check our socials for opening times). But if you stop by and can’t find anyone, just use the ring doorbell to contact us and someone will come and serve you.
The shop sells hot and cold drinks, alcohol, snacks and locally produced ice-cream.
Fancy an evening stroll?
During the summer months, evenings can often be the best time for a walk around Dumble farm. When the weather is warmer, the cows will be more active in the evenings, this is also a better time to spot wildlife.
The Boozy Coo bar is usually open on weekend nights during the summer, so visitors can come for a walk, then stop by for some locally produced wines, beers, ciders and spirits.
For a list of walking routes that start at Dumble Farm, head to our local attractions page.

Tours & Experiences
An important part of our conservation work is educating people about endangered species and what we can do to protect them.
Spending time in nature and with cows has a very calming effect, creating a feeling of well-being.
Our award winning and unique cow cuddling experience, allows visitors to relax and feel the benefits of snuggling up to these affectionate and gentle animals.
All our activities are very hands-on and designed to give you an understanding of the animals and learn more about our farming and conservation projects. Due to the immersive nature of these activities, they are only suitable for adults.
Our little campsite is now open!
Our eco friendly off-grid campsite is now taking bookings.
We have 2 Luxury yurts, 3 tent and 5 hard pitches for campervans/motorhomes.
Some of the young Highlands are often in the paddock at 1 side of the campsite, with the goats in the little wood at the other side of the site.
Campsite guests will also have access to a private picnic and wildlife area around our pond, which is about a 5 minute walk from the campsite and you’ll be able to see some of our other cows along the way. There is also a 3 mile circular walk which goes round the whole farm.
Over 18’s only, no dogs allowed.

How you can help to protect wildlife
One of the ways we fund our conservation projects is by offering sponsorship packages. Sponsoring a cow makes a unique gift for any Highland cow fan. Not only will you receive your initial sponsorship package, containing various gifts depending on your level of sponsorship. You will get access to your cow’s unique Moobook page which you can access at anytime, to stay up to date with all the latest news on your new fluffy friend. The sponsorship page also has information on the conservation project, so you can see where your sponsorship money is being spent and know you are playing your part to support our wonderful wildlife.

Book Your Event
We only add dates for our experiences at the beginning of the previous month, as we have to work with both the animals, seasons of the year, conservation work and our other commitments here at the farm, for these reasons the experiences on offer do vary throughout the year.
Visits to the farm are by appointment only and everyone must have a ticket. We can not accommodate spectators.
To give you the best experience, we only have small groups at a time which means places are limited and in demand, with tickets selling out very quickly.
